Christian Centre

New Life is a Church Family.

We are a community of grandparents and babies, couples and singles, men and women and youth. We come from more than 30 different cultures, and together we form one body. We are all valuable, we all grow, live and struggle together.

Welcome to New Life Christian Centre. We are a community based church in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia. Because we see ourselves as a family, it is important to us that we grow and develop into people of character who nobly represent our Lord Jesus Christ. To this end we promote traditional family values, preach strong challenging messages directly from the Word of God, and resolve any issues according to the principles of scripture.

About New Life

New Life Christian Centre was established in the suburb of Girrawheen in the northern suburbs of Perth, Western Australia in 2000. In 2004 we relocated to newer premises in the nearby suburb of Alexander Heights.As the church grew, new ministries were added to meet more of the needs in the community. Currently the programs we run for the community includes PlayGroup, Kids Clubs, two Youth Groups and an Over 55s Group. All of which are supported by volunteers from within the church who provide their time to make a positive difference in the community.We are also active in overseas missions, particularly in remote regions of South India and Mindanao, Philippines where we are supporting local churches both financially and with outreach crusades where we have seen a great many people miraculously healed and delivered and brought into relationship with Jesus Christ.

New Life Christian Centre is affiliate with Life Church International Ltd, which belongs to the Life Churches International Network.

Core Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is God's inspired word. It is accurate, infallible, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving, entirely just and completely holy.We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. As both God and man, He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the 'new birth' we must repent of our sin, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.We believe that in order to fully live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sovereignly gives us spiritual gifts, and it is both our privilege and responsibility to minister according to the gift(s) and grace that He has given us.We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in His Church and serve the community in which we live.We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.

Mark and Rebecca

Originally from Chennai, India, Mark also is the music director at New Life
and Rebecca is a professional counsellor, they have three daughters

Barrie and Lorraine

Kiwi Barrie and Aussie Lorraine are true parents of Faith at New Life,
serving God for over 40 years with Grace and Mercy

Con and Sue

Con and Sue are Elders in the church and are true pastoral ministers
as well as Sue is the church treasurer

Christine (Mrs G)

Christine is the Secretary and all things Admin, but much more than that.
Full of faith and serving faithfully for twenty three years at New Life,
one of our longest serving members

Jeremy and Karina

The youngest couple on the pastoral team, full of life and vibrancy.
Originally from Sri Lanka, they have 3 children.

For pre-school children and their parents/guardians.
Monday 9.30am - 11.00am during school terms.

Surge Kids

For School children in Years PP - 7.
Friday 4:30pm - 6.00pm during school terms.

Pulse

For School children in Year 7 and above.
Friday 6.00pm - 8.00pm during school terms.

Over 55's

For adults 55 years an over.
Monday 12.00pm - 1.30pm during school terms.

Ladies

For women of all ages.
Runs as special event evenings usually held once a term.

Men's

For men of all ages.
Runs as special events usually held once a term.

Overseas Ministries

The main focus of NewLife Missions is in rural areas of southern India where the majority of people have never even heard of the name of Jesus Christ.
Our church supports outreach crusades, local pastors, children, income development programs, some building programs and water bores for remote villages.We also support the Celebration International Church with Pastors Homer and Elsa Eduave in Cagayan De Oro, Philippines. Our last trip was in early 2020.

Daily Devotions

Most Christians need a little prompting to spend time with God each day even though the time spent is always rewarding. Therefore Ps Tom writes and emails a brief daily devotion Mondays to Saturdays to provide encouragement and food for thought.
